What are the signs of a bad steering gear box?
Loose or wandering steering, excessive play in the steering wheel, or clunking noises when turning are typical signs. A leaking gear box may leave hydraulic fluid on your driveway or underneath the vehicle. If the steering suddenly becomes difficult or unresponsive, the gear box may be failing.
What is the difference between a remanufactured and new gear box?
