Control Arm Assemblies
Control Arm Assemblies for Trucks, SUVs, and Cars
Replace worn control arms with direct-fit assemblies that come with the ball joint and bushings already pressed in. Our control arm catalog covers upper and lower, front and rear positions, across most popular cars, trucks, and SUVs. If you need a single arm or a full front-end kit, the listings show what is in the box so you know what you are getting.
We carry control arm assemblies for high-volume vehicles including the Ford F-150 (1997-2014), Chevy Silverado 1500 (1999-2018), Toyota 4Runner (2003-2022), Toyota Tacoma (2005-2015), Jeep Wrangler (1997-2007), and more.
Control Arm FAQ
What are the symptoms of a bad control arm?
Clunks over bumps, steering wander, uneven tire wear, and a pull to one side are the usual suspects. The ball joint or the bushing is usually what fails first, not the arm itself. With a pressed-in assembly, you replace both at once instead of chasing individual parts.
Do your control arms come with ball joints and bushings installed?
Yes. Each control arm assembly ships with the ball joint and bushings pressed in, so you can bolt it right in. You do not need a press or a ball joint service.
What else should I replace at the same time?
While the front end is apart, inspect the ball joints, sway bar links, tie rod ends, and struts. These parts wear on a similar timeline. If ride quality has dropped, coil springs may also be sagging.
Do I need an alignment after replacing a control arm?
Yes. Control arms set caster and camber. Always get an alignment after the install so tire wear stays even.
How fast do you ship?
Control arm orders ship in 2-4 days. Call 888-583-0255 or email [email protected] if you need help with fitment or installation specs.
Are your control arms covered under warranty?
Many Detroit Axle control arms come with a 10-year warranty. Warranty details are listed on each product page so you can confirm coverage before you order.
