How do I know if my rotors are bad?

Listen for grinding or squealing when you brake. Feel for pulsing in the brake pedal, which usually means the rotor is warped. Look for visible scoring or discoloration on the rotor surface. If you see any of these signs, the rotor should be replaced.

Should I replace rotors and pads together?

Yes. Old pads generate more heat and uneven wear patterns on the rotor surface. When you replace pads, always replace the rotor on the same axle to ensure balanced braking and long rotor life.

What other brake components should I service?

When you replace rotors, also inspect the brake pads and calipers on that axle. If the caliper is leaking or the pads are worn, replace those too for a complete brake job.
